Meebo – Instant Messaging with Ajax

Meebo is an Ajax-rich web-based instant messenger application, it’s elegant and useful.

If you are away from your base computer, you may not be able to access the software needed to run IM. Meebo is here for rescue as it’s capable of connecting to Google Talk, Jabber, AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, MSN Messenger, and Yahoo Messenger. Your contact list becomes condensed into one, with the IM’s respective icon letting you know what they are connected through.

Since Meebo uses Ajax, you can drag and drop the message boxes around the screen. And the core functionality (making IM more useful and easy to use) is quite nice.
